Your Day in Val d’Orcia

We begin in the hill town of Pienza, known for its Renaissance design and Pecorino cheese. If you’d like, we’ll stop for a small gelato before heading into the countryside.

On the drive to our first winery, we pass through some of Val d’Orcia’s most photographed landscapes, including Cypress Road and film locations featured in Gladiator, Under the Tuscan Sun, and The English Patient.

At the first family-owned winery, you’ll walk through the vineyards and cellars while I introduce you to the winemaking process, followed by a guided tasting in a quiet, unhurried setting.

We then continue to a second winery, where another local family shares their approach to wine, tradition, and life in the Tuscan countryside, ending with a final tasting overlooking the surrounding hills.
